Circle Of Life

I'm a true believer that what you put out in the world is what will come back to you. The energy with which you conduct yourself, both while in solitude and among the masses, attracts like energy. The people in your life, the events of any given day and what the Universe puts in your life path are all the result of the energy you exude.

More than just positive thinking, positive living is essential if you want to experience more opportunity for growth and happiness. The more proactive you are, the more prepared and in tune you will be to all that potential and possibility. Sure, living with intention is a lot of work, but when you think about the alternative of living without purpose, the effort, and dedication you will have to expend to maintain the right intention is so worth the outcome.

The idea of living life stuck in a loop of misfortune and anger isn't attractive to me. I doubt that it's anyone's idea of living. The sad reality is that too many give up their power to change their path and circumstances out of fear. Fear that the unknown requires work to navigate, fear that they might endure setbacks on their way to better days, and strangely, fear that they might experience happiness and prosperity. That last one, that's the biggest hurdle for some. Not because they don't want to experience happiness, but because they can't bear the thought of losing it.

What is missed, however, is that once you've allowed the lighter days to grace your existence, you have a better understanding of how to create them. You might face the loss of a particular relationship or the end of a most enjoyable period of life, and while it is difficult to accept, it's important to take what you can from those things and continue to push on. The lessons and emotional experiences we collect through the years are the tools we need to continue making our way through the next.

It's good to feel the pain, sadness, and disappointment of things that end. These are things that shouldn't be feared or avoided. Without them, the height of happiness would be impossible to measure.
