Risk was not a big part of my life, as far back as I can recall. I've always possessed a healthy amount of respectful fear for anything just beyond total comprehension. If I couldn't predict or count on the outcome, I didn't pursue it.
I'm still not an avid risk taker, but I've grown to accept that sometimes it's the best way to move forward. Every time I take the smallest leap, I find that even if I don't land where I expected or intended, it's better than being stuck where I was, and in the end I am closer to where I want to be than I ever was before.
Embracing the fear, taking leaps and living life a little less 'safe'. Sitting still just isn't me.
